"The 5 elements of hip hop"

RHINO CMZ & GWE

"EH- YO DJ! D-JAAAAAAAAAAY! Run that back...RUN THAT SH*T BACK"

The underground synagogue of HIP HOP is a communal Seder. It is a Passover that can be found in many Inner city basements, and just like Jesus turning water to wine this celebratory ritual has four individual elements that are grouped together to transform history and the culture as we know it.....but wait this is not history class-ok-maybe a page in the Bible, but really this is about a group of men.Five distinctive young men on a path and a mission to find peace, freedom, justice, Love, and prosperity in a time and place where things are changing and challenging their spiritual strength. They are called Hidden Descent.

"The Child Who Survived"-RED

RED

Red is a sacred color so there is no coincidence in the name, the person, and what he embodies with every stroke of paint.

The nature of his art challenges the very definition and subjects surrounding the spirit of philosophy. He accredits this to his exposure of, "both the hood and academia". Using his academic knowledge, life experiences through stages of "boy-hood" to "man-hood", and observation developed intuitively,  his visual prose incites meaningful conversations surrounding the black experiences both local and globally.

Reaching beyond the social and systemic language and lingo governing the various perception of blackness Red breaks down his process, motivations, and philosophy in regards to his most recent exhibition,  "A people to heal" and project "The Stimulus Package Tour"-where he traveled to 40 different States in the United States of America and produced a breath-taking body of work from  which he tokens as reparations.
